Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a great year filled with good health, happiness and prosperity … Well, 2009 is done, and 2010 has begun here at The Learning Tree of Arts.
Classes have resumed as regularly scheduled, and it is “crunch” time for our portfolio students who will be auditioning within the next few weeks for MDCPS Visual Arts Magnet programs at schools such as: Southwood Middle, Coral Reef Senior High, New World School of the Arts, DASH, and several others …
January is a busy month with the portfolio preparation for our Magnet candidates, who have been working diligently for the past few months, and of course, it is also time for our first exhibition of the year – the Artist’s Showcase, to be held on January 23.
Space is still available in several of the classes offered here at The Learning Tree of Arts, and some new classes will opening shortly: Around the World with Art (a mixed media class exploring art from different coutries), and Creative Photgraphy … just to name a few!
